One of the first community organizations to support the Playshop, The Wilton Rotary Club presented a check for $5,000 for the Playshop's ongoing restoration campaign. The donation helped to provide new carpeting in the theatre's “green room” as well as new fire-proof doors. Founded in 1951 by a group of civic-minded Wiltonians, Kiwanis remains a positive force in our community. Their ongoing and generous financial support of the Playshop is most appreciated.

In 2008, the Newcomers Club chose the Playshop as the beneficiary of the proceeds from both the sale of a specially designed holiday ornament and a wine tasting event held at the Wilton library. The Wilton Newcomers Club is a non-profit organization that has been a valued resource for Wilton residents since 1965.  WNC has many fun activities and events planned throughout the year, which runs from September through May. These activities and events appeal to a broad range of members, which include couples, families and working moms

A long time supporter of local organizations, Wilton Pizza offers fundraising nights during which local organizations can receive 50% of a night’s proceeds. Since 1993, Wilton Pizza &Pasta has offered delicious pizza and Italian dishes. Whether eating in, sitting outside while listening to live jazz or taking your order to go, it’s a delicious dining experience.

Patriot Bank sponsored a Wilton Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event at the Wilton Playshop to highlight the efforts to revitalize the Playshop. It was catered by Barcelona, an award-winning Spanish tapas restaurant group with locations in SoNo, Greenwich, Fairfield, West Hartford, New Haven and Stamford and regularly wins in the Appetizers and Wine categories in Connecticut Magazine’s annual “Best Of” competition.
